The Game by Devalin
He silently watched her with a gleam in his eyes
Knowing that she wanted him
Knowing exactly why
Waiting patiently in the corner
He wispered her name
Knowing she would come to him
It was how the game was played
She looked in his direction
Her face drawn in a blank stare
Then she smiled when she found him waiting there
The glem in his eye turned brighter
As he watched her cross the floor
Soon it would be he and her
Bound together forever more
It didn't take her long to get where he hung about
Putting a hand on his leg, they knew without a doubt
That he was her destiny
And she was his
Feeling absolutely passionate
She caressed him with her lips
She knew what she wanted and this was the only way
He could give her what she wanted
It was how the game was played
Slowly,silently
She held him in her hand
He felt cool to the touch
But, God, did he feel grand
They both knew who had won
She caressed him one last time
With one finger on the trigger
And a single fallen tear
She bid goodbye to everything
Then left a life so dear
